「薩摩武士なりきり体験」は、鎧兜の着付け技術を伝承する「出水麓街なみ保存会」協力のもと実施しているアクティビティです。

築250年の武家屋敷・税所邸にて、保存会の皆さんが鎧兜のパーツを一つひとつ丁寧に着付けてくれます。

体験される方は、性別・年齢不問。
お子様にも人気のコンテンツです。

400年前から続く石垣の町並みや武家門を背景に記念撮影すれば、まるで江戸時代にタイムスリップしたかのよう。

薩摩武士の歴史と歩むまち・出水麓ならではの体験を、ぜひお楽しみください。

Why not try on a brave armor and helmet in a historic samurai residence?
The “Satsuma Samurai Experience” is an activity conducted with the cooperation of the Izumi Fumoto Townscape Preservation Society, which preserves the techniques of wearing armor and helmets.
At the 250-year-old samurai residence, Saishotei, members of the preservation society will carefully help you put on each part of the armor.
Anyone of any gender or age can participate in the experience. It is also popular with children.
Take a commemorative photo with the stone-walled streets and samurai gates that have continued for 400 years in the background, and you will feel as if you have traveled back in time to the Edo period.
Please enjoy this experience that is unique to Izumi Fumoto, a town that walks with the history of the Satsuma samurai.
