RITA Yame-Fukushima's story began with a meeting with local volunteers who had renovated approximately 80 townhouses within 20 years. A group of local artisans have restored all of the hotel's guest rooms using traditional construction methods. The techniques of these carpenters, plasterers, and other artisans from around the Yame area have created and nurtured the captivating and nostalgic views you can see today. The town has been passed down through the generations thanks to the continuation of Yame's traditional way of life. All of these features collectively make up the "Yame-Fukushima lifestyle".
