Our guest rooms were created by carefully restoring century-old buildings.
The woodworking town of Okawa is rooted in a tradition of craftsmanship that gives shape to our values: repairing, cherishing, and using things for a lifetime.
We invite you to spend a rich, fulfilling time surrounded by 'lifelong treasures', items that only grow more beautiful with every use.

From lumber and fittings to furniture and lacquerware, Okawa is a hub for a wide array of woodworking skills.
Experience the creation of "lifelong treasures" that will grow dearer to you the more you use them. Learn the techniques cultivated in this land directly from our artisans and enjoy an unforgettable experience.

The Kanna building was once the home of a ship carpenter, while the Kobiki building belonged to a furniture maker. Both are historic folk houses, now available as private, entire-house rentals that embody the stories of our region.
Each home is furnished with pieces crafted by local Okawa artisans, inviting you to experience the diverse beauty of wood.
Start your day feeling refreshed with a menu featuring bread from a local bakery and vinegar from "Shoubunsu", a long-established neighborhood vinegar brewery. We also offer vegan breakfast options.
We offer workshops that allow you to experience the history and culture of this region. Through meeting and interacting with locals, you will gain an authentic understanding of the region's character and daily life.
